About Newells
Newell's Bowling Supply was founded in 1997. As an employee of Century International Corp. founder Joe Newell worked for the Lane Machine manufacturer in Colorado for 10 years in production and customer service. After landing a Song on the radio he spent a couple of years in Nashville, TN. writing for Warner Bros. Music. After returning and rejoining Century, Steve Caffrey now with Brunswick lined him up with Quality Bowling Corp. as sales and service manager for there Distributor side of the Pinsetter and Pinspotter Manufacturing Company in Southern CA. This was a perfect fit that allowed his skills to flourish with the addition of Lane Maintenance supplies and the knowledge of Lane Machines and Lane Patterns. After 12 years with Quality the company was sold to Brunswick and moved to Muskegon. This left an opportunity for a stand alone Bowling Supply Distributorship in the Southwest and so Newells Bowling supply was born in 1996. Gus Falgien started in shipping and Receiving along with Joe. After 2 years Gus went out in sales and later went to work for the Kegel, CO in Florida. As luck has it Rick Cargo came available. Rick has over 30 years experience as a Pinsetter Mechanic and Installer. Along with his knowledge in the Bowling Industry and his is excellent customer service skills he is a favorite with all he comes in contact with. Newells Bowling Supply has become a leader in providing Bowling centers stellar service but never losing sight that the customer is the real reason why were here. Without are customers we would have nothing.
